Job Summary:

As a Lead Ticket Checker, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional experiences for our guests and fellow employees. This position involves overseeing the daily functions of the ticket scanning department. The ideal candidate will be a friendly, approachable leader with a keen eye for detail, who enjoys working outdoors in varying alpine weather conditions.

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $23.04 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
  • Housing: May Be Available

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations and safety protocols of the scanning department.
  • Act as a point of escalation for scanning equipment issues, ticket/pass discrepancies, and misuse.
  • Monitor team performance and provide necessary coaching and documentation.
  • Adjust staffing levels as needed based on operational demands.
  • Report safety incidents to management immediately.
  • Assist with orientations, training sessions, and payroll management.
  • Conduct audits to evaluate the performance of the scanning team.
  • Collaborate with the lift operations team to enhance maze setup efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills (English) with the ability to present information effectively in group settings.
  • Proven leadership abilities.
  • Intermediate or advanced skiing and riding skills.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all types of alpine weather.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Capability to multitask and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Eagerness to learn company-specific software applications.

The expected pay range is $23.04. This reflects the range we anticipate for this position, with individual compensation based on various factors.
