Janitorial Assistant

**Job Summary**

Arms Acres is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our maintenance team as a Janitor. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Maintain the building and grounds in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Complete assigned work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Remove garbage and recyclables from the building and exterior receptacles, and ensure proper disposal.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure the area is safe and secure, reporting any hazards to the supervisor.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on equipment as assigned.
• Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order.
• Provide transportation services as required.
• Set up equipment for special events.
• Secure the building according to shift duties.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as mowing, raking, and snow removal.
• Ability to mop, strip, and wax floors, and perform other related tasks.

**Requirements:**

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 3 years of related experience or training in plant operations at a healthcare facility.
• Valid driver's license required.
