About the Role:

The Lockbox Remittance Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing and maintenance of customers' lockbox deposits. This position requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process all lockbox deposits from various commercial customers.
  • Sort, open, and process batches of work as required for this function.
  • Process any corrections and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Bill each customer monthly according to the services provided.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer account information and follow established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Opex machine experience.
  • Requiring lockbox, remittance, or deposit operations experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.

Education and Training:

  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year previous retail banking or lockbox experience preferred.
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
