Job Summary:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Stability Direct, you will administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, utilizing radioisotope equipment. Your expertise will be essential in administering medical substances for imaging or other procedures, performing screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, and coordinating patient flow while maintaining procedure quality control.

Responsibilities:

  • Administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment.
  • Administers medical substances for imaging or other procedures.
  • Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Coordinates patient flow and maintains procedure quality control.
  • Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment.
  • Documents all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys in accordance with departmental procedures.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License: Required in CA and HI.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine OR Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist: Required in CA and OR.
  • Venipuncture certification: Required in CA and HI.

This role is part of a not-for-profit, 192-bed hospital, 20 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, and 45 minutes to the west coast. It provides medical care to areas of East Los Angeles, El Monte, Montebello, Pico Rivera, Monterey Park, Whittier, and surrounding communities.
