The employee is expected to possess knowledge of safety protocols relevant to both patient and workplace environments as they pertain to job functions.
Competency in Care Delivery:
Demonstrates proficiency in care delivery, ensuring that age-specific needs are met when applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather necessary cleaning supplies and equipment; load utility carts and transport them to designated work areas after receiving specific instructions.
- Execute a variety of cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing. Conduct inspections post-cleaning to confirm that cleanliness standards are met.- Prepare cleaning solutions following the guidelines provided on product labels.
- Carry out routine cleaning of discharge rooms according to established protocols, which includes removing soiled linens and remaking beds with fresh linens in the prescribed manner.
- Report any maintenance issues to the team leader regarding the assigned area.- Regularly clean and store equipment in the designated storage area.
- Log on and off cleaning tasks as per organizational policy.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: All candidates must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or secure an approved medical or religious exemption prior to commencing employment.
