Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist

Malarkey Roofing Products is committed to creating a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The EHS Specialist will work closely with site leadership and team members to implement and improve site safety, health, and environmental programs. This role will provide technical support to EHS activities and ensure that Malarkey Roofing Products facilities provide safe work environments while complying with applicable EHS regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
  • Provide training and education to employees on EHS policies and procedures
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with site leadership and team members to improve EHS performance and reduce risk
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an EHS-related field, such as Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health
  • At least three years of EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Familiarity with OSHA, DOL, and other EHS regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
