About the Role:

As a Retail Data Collector with Scan Scape, you will play a critical role in collecting data from various retail stores to help us assess and improve the performance of products and stores. This is a part-time position that requires you to work independently, scanning barcodes and collecting data from stores on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect data from retail stores by scanning barcodes and inventorying products
  • Work independently, using a downloadable app on your personal device to collect data
  • Visit multiple stores per week, averaging 2-4 hours per store
  • Collect data on specific products, including inventory levels and product information
  • Provide accurate and reliable data to support business decisions

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
  • Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods of time, while accessing products throughout the store
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms and legs for prolonged periods of time
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
