Development Manager Assistant

We are seeking an Assistant Development Manager to serve a critical role in the development of projects across Middle TN and Northern AL. As an ideal candidate, you will have 3 to 6 years of experience in one or more of the disciplines listed above, such as engineering, architecture, land planning, landscape architecture, construction, home builder, finance, investing, accounting, HOA, marketing, etc.
The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver, enjoy being in an environment where everyday is different, and be willing to learn all aspects of the development cycle. You will be responsible for leading the construction process, contractor management, schedule development and oversight, bid and contract development, governmental agency management, construction document review and development, budget creation/execution, etc.
Responsibilities include:

- Budget creation and execution, and responsible for learning all aspects of the development cycle

Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, engineering, or related fields including architecture, construction management, landscape architecture, or planning
- 3 - 6 years of professional experience in the land development industry
- Proficient at Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and scheduling software
- It is a plus to have skills in hand and/or computer aided drafting software, graphic software
- Identifies as a creative problem solver, strong communication skills, and maintains a positive attitude
- Proven management skills that will allow you to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple concurrent projects
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with an interest in continuous improvement and adding value
- Efficiently and effectively manages the timely completion of tasks
- Willing to learn all aspects of the development cycle
