Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our team at the Holiday Inn Express Hilton Head Island. As a Houseperson, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our hotel, ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities:

* Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces
* Assist with breakfast service, including setting up and cleaning up after meals
* Respond to guest requests and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

* Must be at least 18 years old
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Hotel experience preferred
* Ability to work weekends and holidays

Work Environment:

* This job operates in an indoor hotel environment
* Continuous use of standard cleaning equipment and chemicals
* Occasional exposure to fumes, gases, odors, dust, and biohazards

Physical Demands:

* Continuous standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands to handle objects
* Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or placing cleaning products and supplies up to 25 pounds
