The Opportunity

We are seeking a Tutor I who will advance the institution's proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life, and community service. As a Tutor I, you will play a critical role in supporting students' academic success by providing high-quality tutoring services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized tutoring services to students in a specific subject area.
  • Develop and implement effective tutoring strategies to meet the needs of diverse students.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure seamless support for students.
  • Stay current with curriculum and instructional methods to provide relevant support to students.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED and some college courses.
  • Completed at least one college course in the subject area being tutored with a grade of A (photocopy of transcript must accompany application).
  • Prefer one (1) year work experience in post-secondary institution tutoring setting.
