Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with design specifications, particularly in relation to bridge design.
  • Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work is progressing as planned and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve on-site issues and conflicts.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, budget updates, and forecasts.
  • Ensure all project documentation, including contracts, permits, and safety records, are well maintained.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Implement and enforce site safety protocols, ensuring all activities comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on bridge design and construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent understanding of bridge design specifications and their application in a construction setting.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel to various job sites as required.
  • QC, Safety Certification Required
