The anticipated salary range for this position is between $124,200 and $138,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and 401(k) contributions.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is pivotal in overseeing, assigning, and coordinating the activities of the Maintenance Division to ensure a productive workforce that aligns with divisional, departmental, site, and corporate objectives while adhering to all company policies and applicable regulations. You will collaborate with department schedulers and planners to effectively plan and execute work. Additionally, you will provide insights on training, procedural enhancements, and other necessities to facilitate the safe and efficient execution of work tasks. Participation as a member of the Emergency Plan team is also required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise craft personnel to guarantee that all maintenance tasks are executed safely and effectively by qualified individuals, in accordance with plant procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Administer coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations, including the initiation of disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Communicate significant plant and personnel matters to the Maintenance Manager and relevant management levels, fostering open dialogue and collaboration across all organizational levels.
  • Ensure effective dissemination of company programs, announcements, and policies to assigned employees while facilitating feedback from them.
  • Engage in various aspects of work control, coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings to ensure that assigned tasks are appropriately planned and ready for execution.
  • Support and manage all Maintenance processes, including training programs, surveillance initiatives, procedure updates, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee vendor inspections and repairs of plant equipment, ensuring the effective procurement and utilization of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Contribute to all facets of Maintenance Department management to uphold the safe and efficient operation of the plant, including the development and monitoring of corporate and site-specific business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a positive Leadership Assessment (FLS) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in the specific craft being supervised.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient problem-solving, decision-making, and planning abilities are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successful completion of core supervisory and management training programs.
  • Possession of a two-year technical degree is advantageous.
  • Proficient in electronic work management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in nuclear power plant operations is preferred.
