Responsibilities:
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
To organize and prepare work packages for tasks to be executed by the respective maintenance teams (Electrical Maintenance, Instrumentation Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance) ensuring that plant maintenance is conducted safely, reliably, and efficiently, in accordance with the Quality Assurance manual, company policies, procedures, and relevant codes and standards.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop and prepare work instructions that guide the Maintenance Department in executing corrective maintenance repairs, performing preventive maintenance, and conducting surveillance activities, as well as implementing modifications.
Conduct field assessments to identify and evaluate corrective and preventive maintenance, modifications, and surveillance tasks, providing insights for enhancing work package quality.
Define the procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials essential for executing planned work packages.
Facilitate package preparation by preparing and/or submitting Out of Service requests, Risk Work Packages, plant barrier impairments, welding/grinding permits, fire impairments, Operability impact statements, ALARA task outs, Regulatory/Code documentation, Notice of Safety hold/witness points, freeze seal and temporary leak repair documentation, and other necessary requests.
Ensure work instructions are comprehensive and comply with all relevant station procedures, including Nuclear Safety Procedures, Nuclear Safety Work Procedures, ASME Code, etc.Review and approve all required work packages to guarantee safety, high quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with 10CFR50.59 screening or evaluation (if applicable).
Develop, revise, and assess maintenance procedures to support and improve work package development, ensuring adherence to codes, standards, and vendor recommendations, as well as maintenance directives.
Engage in work control/scheduling meetings, planning feedback/craft interface sessions, detailed contract requisition reviews, complex troubleshooting, Equipment Qualification reviews, detailed Operational Experience searches, Maintenance risk/Change Order request reviews, Planner peer reviews, and system interaction reviews to ensure applicable station processes and changes are effectively supported.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma with a minimum of four years of experience in the relevant craft discipline for which work packages are being planned.

A four-year or two-year technical degree.
Successful completion of core supervisory/management training and development programs.
A minimum of five years of experience in nuclear power plant operations.
