Exercise Science Professor Opportunity

The School of Kinesiology and Recreation at Illinois State University invites applications for a tenure track professor position in Exercise Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in Exercise Physiology, directing graduate research projects and theses, and contributing to the development of the Exercise Science program.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach quality instruction in Exercise Physiology and related courses
  • Direct graduate research projects and theses
  • Develop a focused area of scholarship in Exercise Science
  • Participate in College, School, and Program faculty meetings and activities
  • Contribute to State and/or National/International professional organizations

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Exercise Science or related field
  • Experience in teaching and research in Exercise Physiology
  • Ability to contribute to the development of the Exercise Science program
