About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at South Pacific Rehab/Rehab Alliance. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OTR) and according to state guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality treatment to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist the OTR in identifying patients who require rehabilitation services and referring them to our team.
  • Document patient progress and participation in a timely and accurate manner, obtaining the co-signature of the OTR.
  • Ensure that medical orders are obtained for treatments, re-certifications, and discharges.
  • Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited college with a BA or associate degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • Recognized by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) as a designated COTA (if state mandated).
  • COTA holds a current license and/or registration as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in-state as applicable.
Work Settings

Our COTA will work in various settings, including outpatient, rehabilitation centers, long-term care facilities, inpatient facilities, clinics, nursing homes, acute care hospitals, and more.

Compensation

Our competitive hourly rate ranges from $35.00 to $38.00 USD per hour.
