About the Role:
The Complex Credit Associate will work closely with senior members to support all aspects of the investment and triage process. This includes building robust financial models, drafting internal investment memorandums, and assisting with the negotiation of legal documentation and restructurings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze distressed investments and rationalize strategic alternatives
- Assist in the negotiation of legal documentation and restructurings
- Work closely with senior members to support all aspects of the investment and triage process
- Monitor and manage relevant portfolio credits
Requirements:
- Two to five years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, leveraged finance, credit investing, or private equity
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and accounting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with credit documentation and working knowledge of capital structures a plus
