Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. As a LPN, you will provide clinical support to our physicians and mid-level providers, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care by giving clear direction to patients, addressing their concerns, and documenting appropriately in patient charts.
  • Ensure completion of all forms vital to the revenue cycle, including verification/clarification of orders, waivers for non-covered services, and encounter forms.
  • Provide instructions to patients under the direction of providers, ensuring complete and accurate information in patient charts.
  • Maintain adequate levels of supplies in exam rooms and workstations, clean and disinfect exam rooms, and perform cleaning, maintenance, and/or sterilization of equipment and instruments.
  • Assist with completion of patient requests, referral process, outpatient test scheduling, and precertification.
  • Interact with Central Billing Office as needed to resolve patient issues.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • 6 months to 1-year experience preferred.
  • Current state LPN license.
