Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our addiction treatment program, ensuring that all clients receive high-quality care and support. This includes coordinating treatment activities, supervising staff, and providing guidance and support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate treatment activities and ensure compliance with treatment schedules
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure high-quality care and support
  • Provide guidance and support to clients, including behavioral interventions and consequences
  • Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate didactic and peer group counseling
  • Monitor client service records and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Develop and present client lectures and facilitate focal group discussion sessions
  • Consult with the treatment team to plan daily therapeutic direction
  • Oversee the neatness of the unit and ensure proper use of equipment and supplies
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED; Bachelor or Master degree in psychology, social work, human services, or related field preferred
  • Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC) or licensed in Illinois as a LSW or LPC, or higher
  • Skilled in behavioral management techniques and ability to coordinate and present lectures
  • CPR training or complete within three months
  • Valid Illinois driver's license
