We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Physician with OB experience to join our team at Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta. As a Family Medicine Physician with OB experience, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in both the clinic and hospital settings.
Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Family Medicine and OB, with the ability to handle c-sections and other OB procedures. You will work in the clinic 1-2 weeks per month, depending on your schedule, and will be responsible for hospital coverage as an employed physician.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the clinic and hospital settings
- Handle c-sections and other OB procedures
- Work in the clinic 1-2 weeks per month, depending on your schedule
- Be responsible for hospital coverage as an employed physician
- Board Certified Family Medicine or Board Eligible FM
- Active CA license
- OB Fellowship
- Active ACLS, DEA, PALS (for peds call)
- Must be qualified to handle c-sections
- Clean malpractice/Background
- Local, no flights
- Disclose if provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity Facility
- COVID Vaccine
- Experience working in a small facility in a small community
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
