Position Summary:
We are seeking motivated college students eager to gain professional experience in the Food & Beverage sector. This internship will offer valuable insights into sustainability practices, planning, and reporting, alongside warehouse operations such as receiving and inventory management, all contributing to the successful execution of Food & Beverage services.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Food & Beverage Management Team, the intern will:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives that enhance local environmental, energy, economic, and social practices within the Food & Beverage department.
- Assist in planning future sustainability projects aligned with upcoming expansion efforts.
- Support training initiatives for F&B staff to foster a culture of sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with the Purchase Order system for all warehouse orders, verifying specifications and supervising the proper handling of goods.
- Collaborate with the Office Manager on processing Purchase Orders and invoices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all warehouse storage areas.
- Help design optimized storage solutions across various F&B storage locations.
- Assist in streamlining inventory travel paths to minimize waste.
- Keep accurate records as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include physical tasks such as lifting and extensive walking.
Qualifications:
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in college.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills.
- Previous experience in customer service is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food and beverage operations is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Canva is a plus.
- Exhibit professionalism and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information.
- Forklift and Food Service certifications are beneficial.
