We are currently seeking Event Management Specialists to enhance our operations in various markets across the U.S. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in hospitality or event planning who are eager to delve into the food service industry, engage with valued clients, and collaborate with a network of outstanding local restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Fooda events in multiple capacities, including: 1.) being present onsite for setup, breakdown, equipment cleaning, and ensuring a top-notch customer experience, 2.) serving as a backup cashier at Fooda Cafés during team members' absences, and 3.) handling delivery responsibilities for equipment and food to Fooda locations.
  • Develop proficiency with Fooda's technology and standard operational procedures.
  • Address issues such as incorrect orders, delayed deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or miscommunication via email.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges with point-of-sale (POS) systems, onsite technology, and digital menu displays.
  • Conduct onsite promotions and provide coaching for the mobile app.
  • Deliver immediate customer service to resolve issues directly with consumers.
  • Oversee audits of restaurant event setups to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Communicate issues to the Operations Manager as needed to keep them informed or assist in problem-solving.
  • Availability during critical hours, primarily over lunch (10 am – 2 pm), with responsibilities potentially extending from 8 am to 4 pm based on market needs.

  • Seeking a flexible part-time position (5 – 25 hours per week) during standard business hours.
  • Previous experience in catering or serving is highly preferred.
