Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Optum. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiographic diagnostic services to patients while adhering to departmental policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment and other devices as necessary to provide radiographic diagnostic services.
  • Evaluate radiographs for technical quality and seek advice when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve factors before calling service.
  • Produce high-quality radiographs and conform to department standards.
  • Maintain sound employee radiation safety practices and adhere to ALARA standards.
  • Check and communicate low stock levels of supplies in the department.
  • Initiate life support measures and possess knowledge of Code Blue protocol.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a two-year program in Radiologic Technology with an Associate Degree or Certificate.
  • Valid license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Radiology Technologist.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Good standing with the ASRT and ARRT.
  • Knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • EMR experience with EPIC.
  • Previous experience in Orthopedics.
