Overview of the Role:
As a Registered Nurse specializing in Preoperative and PACU care at OrthoArkansas, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and effective care to patients in the Preoperative, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, and Interventional Spine departments. Your duties will encompass overseeing patient care and ensuring a consistent standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Management:
    - Accurately complete all patient records and perform regular audits.
  • Clinical Setup and Maintenance:
    - Organize clinical spaces and replenish necessary supplies.
  • Patient Care and Medication Management:
    - Administer medications and provide care following surgical procedures.
  • Patient Guidance and Coordination:
    - Ensure informed consent, clarify procedures, and facilitate care transitions.
  • Clinical Interventions and Evaluations:
    - Conduct treatments, manage IV administration, and assess patient safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:
    - A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
    - 12 to 18 months of relevant experience or equivalent educational background.
  • Licenses and Certifications:
    - Valid RN License, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    - CNOR Certification, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
