Donation Attendant Part Time/ Wilmington, DE

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team at Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Donor Interaction: Greet and assist donors in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring a positive experience.
- Donation Processing: Accurately count and record donations, ensuring all items are properly categorized and stored.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the drive-through donation area and surrounding areas.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales floor and organizational mission goals.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and able to work varied hours and days as business dictates.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills: Ability to use a pallet jack, good interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The work environment is moderate, with occasional exposure to mechanical parts. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including hand protection and eye protection when handling materials.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands of this role include frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
