Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct echocardiograms, stress tests, and Dobutamine stress echocardiograms.
- Assist cardiologists with transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret test results and maintain accurate documentation.
- Provide training and support to echocardiogram students, residents, and physicians.
- Ensure comprehensive record-keeping and patient charge requisition with appropriate coding.
- Handle emergency patient testing as required.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification.
- Experience in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic approach to patient care.
