At AW Health Care, we invite you to apply for our PRN part-time Caregiver/CNA position, serving the Central St Louis County and City communities.

Our Caregivers and CNAs play a vital role in keeping our clients safe and healthy in the comfort of their own homes. Your work makes a tangible difference in their lives every day.

Shifts and Schedule:

We offer various shifts, including Monday to Friday and weekends. Two weekend shifts are required each month.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, skin care, and oral hygiene, and educate patients and families on meeting these needs.
  • Provide physical assistance with patient transfers, positioning, and ambulation as outlined in the patient care plan.
  • Assist patients with prescribed exercises, which have been taught by professional personnel.
  • Change patient bed linen as needed and maintain a safe environment by clearing clutter from patient pathways.
  • Prepare light meals during visits, if time permits.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining supplies and equipment in proper condition.
  • Help patients with self-administered medications, such as opening bottles and fetching water.
  • Shop for groceries or household items required for patient health and maintenance.
  • Apply nonprescription topical ointments or lotions to unbroken skin at the patient's direction.
