Executive Sous Chef

Job Summary:
The Arcis Golf team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality cuisine for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement menu ideas and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings.
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and storage to maintain optimal levels and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to achieve culinary excellence.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and scheduling to optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Prepare and present high-quality cuisine for special events and functions.
- Develop and implement employee meal programs and other culinary initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of culinary experience, preferably in a fine dining or private club setting.
- Proven track record of supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current knowledge of regional and national trends in food and beverage.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
