Position Overview

In this role, you will assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and achieving profitability goals. Your focus will be on implementing and upholding company standards, policies, and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and maintain a productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in operational planning and staffing analysis.
  • Ensure all menu items are prepared and presented according to established standards and health regulations.
  • Manage employee performance, conduct training, and oversee hiring processes.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation standards while managing inventory effectively.
  • Analyze financial data including payroll, food costs, and operating expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and promoting teamwork.

Leadership Qualities

As a leader, you will demonstrate sound judgment, anticipate challenges, and make informed decisions. Your passion for food and service will inspire your team to excel, while your ability to set clear goals will drive performance.

Physical Requirements

This position requires extensive standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. You will be exposed to various working conditions, including heat and cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

A high school diploma is required, with a preference for candidates who have some college education or relevant experience in the food service industry. Previous managerial experience is also preferred.
