Morton County Assisted Living is seeking a skilled and experienced Dietary Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food hospitality and nutrition department.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in managing food services or hospitality, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities will include supervising food production, ensuring standardized recipes and production sheets, and checking food for flavor, temperature, and appearance on a regular basis.

The Dietary Supervisor will also be responsible for determining quality and quantity of food required, planning and preparing master menus, and supervising the planning of menus for therapeutic diets.

Additionally, the successful candidate will facilitate personalized dietary assessments for each patient, plan menus, purchase food, and assign duties for special functions.

The Dietary Supervisor will also be responsible for developing Food Hospitality and Nutrition team members through training, coaching, and mentoring, and for maintaining monthly inventory controls and preparing departmental budgets.

The ideal candidate will have a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification and a strong understanding of food hospitality and nutritional services.
