We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused General Merchandise Expert to join our team at Target. As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our guests, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that our sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Create a welcoming experience for our guests, engage with them in a genuine way, and provide solutions to their needs.
  • Merchandise Management: Be knowledgeable about our products, ensure that the sales floor is zoned, in stock, and accurately signed, and execute revisions, sales plans, and planograms for all General Merchandise categories.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct weekly price change workload, complete Radio Frequency ID (RFID) scans, and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Backroom Operations: Own backroom aisles, process inbound deliveries, and complete backroom daily and weekly audits.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
