Urban Mobility Planner

Position Summary:
As a Transportation Project Planner, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of transportation and its effects on communities. Your responsibilities will include developing long-term transportation strategies that take into account population growth, economic development, and environmental sustainability. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that transportation plans align with the broader objectives of the community.

Your projects will encompass multiple modes of transportation, enhancing connectivity and accessibility across neighborhoods. You will also play a key role in influencing policy decisions, engaging with community members, assessing environmental impacts, and managing project scope, timelines, and budgets. • A Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, architecture, public policy, geography, or a related field.
• A minimum of six years of experience in the planning sector.
• Certification as a Planner (AICP) is preferred, or a willingness to pursue AICP certification.
• Familiarity with transportation, public transit, geography, urban planning, and land use issues.
• Experience with ArcGIS or ArcPro.
