In this position, you will report directly to the Accounting Manager and take charge of essential accounting responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end closing activities
- Conduct consolidation verifications
- Assist in the upkeep of the general ledger
- Prepare financial reports in compliance with GAAP
- Identify and implement process enhancements
- Collaborate with various business units to develop cash reconciliation strategies
- Aid in the inter-company reconciliation process
- Provide accounting assistance as required
Qualifications
To qualify for this Senior Accountant role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Over 5 years of accounting experience
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, distribution, or a related field is preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP
