Position Overview:
ECM Printing is seeking a dedicated Prepress Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that all print files are prepared to meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Verify that files conform to quality benchmarks for print production and align with specified job orders.
2. Examine files against job specifications, including bleeds, dimensions, and finishing requirements.
3. Conduct troubleshooting and preflight checks on customer files.
4. Prepare customer-supplied files for output to plate.
5. Utilize page pairing software to arrange files for output.
6. Proofread jobs for accuracy during the printing process.

Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and maintain professionalism.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and developing efficient completion strategies.
- Proficient in PC usage, with a foundational understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of page layout and platemaking is preferred, along with a willingness to learn.
- Understanding of offset printing processes is beneficial.
- Previous experience in prepress or graphic design is desirable but not mandatory.
