About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Civil/Site Engineering Discipline as a summer intern in our Holmdel, NJ office.

Job Summary

This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering and site engineering, working alongside our experienced team of professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects, including reading and reviewing project drawings and plans.
  • Confer with engineers to prepare plans and use AutoCAD Civil 3D software under their supervision.
  • Evaluate pre-construction field conditions and observe project sites to detect problems with the design.
  • Prepare reports and document project activities and data, as well as set up and maintain project files and records.
  • Develop and maintain project files and records, and assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
  • Must have reliable transportation to the office.
  • Basic understanding of AutoCAD preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work in a high-paced environment.
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Office.
