Job Overview

At Iron Tee Golf, we are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to enhance our dining experience. Our venue features a state-of-the-art driving range and an engaging indoor mini-golf arcade, providing a unique atmosphere for guests to enjoy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a variety of food items in accordance with established recipes and venue standards, ensuring uniformity in flavor and presentation.
  • Comply with rigorous food safety and sanitation protocols, including the proper handling, storage, and labeling of all ingredients.
  • Utilize diverse cooking methods such as grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking to produce menu offerings.
  • Become well-acquainted with the menu, including food items, garnishes, and plating techniques, to guarantee precise preparation.
  • Effectively manage the preparation of multiple orders to ensure timely service to patrons.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped cooking station with necessary ingredients and tools.
  • Regularly taste and evaluate food items for quality, freshness, and seasoning accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, including chefs and fellow cooks, to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Ensure portion sizes and presentation adhere to venue guidelines for each dish.
  • Accommodate special dietary needs and allergies as directed, ensuring safe meal preparation.
  • Collaborate with servers and expediters to ensure prompt plating and delivery of food to guests.
  • Consistently clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas, ensuring proper maintenance.
  • Adapt to menu changes and new recipes as instructed by kitchen management.
  • Minimize food waste through efficient preparation and storage practices.
  • Follow safety protocols, including the safe operation of kitchen equipment and proper handling of hot surfaces and sharp tools.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate cooking temperatures for various food items, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure a well-coordinated and efficient kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Familiarity with restaurant standards and hospitality practices.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with team members at all levels.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs.
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
