Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Protouch Staffing. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for attending patients and assisting with patient coverage at various locations assigned by the Employer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medication management sessions with patients
  • Conduct patient psychiatric evaluations and assessments
  • Establish rapport with patients and provide empathetic care
  • Review potential admissions, pending cases, and declined admissions to ensure Employer policy execution and compliance with EMTALA
  • Complete coding and documentation standards in compliance with organizational expectations
  • Attend Medical Staff meetings and Executive Committee meetings
Requirements
  • Be licensed in the state of Wisconsin as an MD or DO with specialization in psychiatry
  • Board-eligible physician; Board certification preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited college or university and medical school
  • Previous work experience as a psychiatrist in another licensed hospital, preferred
  • Leadership and/or supervisory experience in a behavioral health organization, preferred
