About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Shopper at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Store Shopper, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders, ensuring that all items are properly scanned, bagged, and staged for pickup.
  • Product Handling: Properly handle and store products, using necessary equipment and following company guidelines to ensure that products are handled safely and efficiently.
  • Communication: Utilize company-issued devices to communicate with customers and team members, ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, ensuring that all areas of the store are well-maintained and customer-ready.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a food service, grocery, or retail setting.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use company-issued devices to manage orders and communicate with customers.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to take direction and work independently, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
