Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Systems Technician to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. The successful candidate will be responsible for production duties including disassembly, cleaning and remanufacturing, light assembly, repair, conversion, painting, and packaging of hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble and inspect hydraulic pumps, motors & valves
  • Remanufacture or repair hydraulic pumps, motors and valves, and individual components and parts
  • Assemble hydraulic pumps, motors and valves
  • Paint pumps and motors to meet customer specifications
  • Build skids and package products to ensure safe shipment
  • Work with supervisor to schedule labor to meet customer satisfaction
  • Continuously review processes to ensure operations are measurable
  • Implement ISO and 5S procedures
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work area
  • Pump conversions

Requirements:

  • Experience in a mechanical / assembly environment
  • Experience with machinery, tools and manufacturing equipment
  • Hilo Certification
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus
