Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Procurement Manager to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals.

The estimated salary for this position is $130,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate drug procurement operations and inventory management to ensure critical drug availability and compliance with 340B regulations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in split billing software and represent Pharmacy during HRSA audits.
  • Lead the development of tools and standards to establish and improve competency levels of support staff.
  • Collaborate with hospital departments to determine alternatives to critical stock shortages and assist with therapeutic substitutions.
  • Oversight and supervision of pharmaceutical purchasing staff and Clinical Business Analyst.
Requirements
  • Valid license and current registration to practice as a Pharmacist issued by the New York State Department of Education (NYSED).
  • Four (4) years of satisfactory full-time experience as a licensed practicing Pharmacist, of which at least two (2) years shall have been in an administrative, managerial or supervisory capacity in a Pharmacy in a hospital, health or medical facility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with 340B Purchasing with Split Billing Software.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Pharmaceutical Procurement.
