Key Responsibilities
  • Assign work activities and delegate tasks to team members
  • Lead and train subordinates to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Plan and organize work shifts to meet maintenance goals and deadlines
  • Inspect maintenance processes and evaluate team performance
  • Maintain inventory and tools, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, and 2-3 years of experience in a meat processing facility
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, and effectively communicate with USDA and production personnel
  • Mathematical skills to apply to practical situations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
Working Conditions

The Maintenance Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with regular exposure to cold/hot and humid conditions. The role requires the ability to climb ladders and platforms, and enter confined spaces while wearing safety equipment.
