Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Professional Nurse to join our team at Northside Hospital. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality cancer treatment services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
  • Work independently to assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and coordination of services.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in radiation oncology.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • ACLS certification required or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire date.
  • Oncology experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree preferred.
  • National Certification in Clinical Specialty preferred.
  • Experience in Pre-op, Operative, and/or Post-op nursing experience preferred.
  • Other preferred RN attributes are unit specific. Please refer to the specific clinical unit.
