Role Summary:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a background in Neurosurgery to become part of a prominent practice focused on enhancing our Neuro Destination Center. A minimum of one year of experience beyond clinical rotations is required.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures involving the brain and spine
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for neurosurgical patients in both hospital and outpatient settings
- Serve as the primary contact for hospital consultations and neurosurgical inquiries
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging in both clinical and hospital environments
- Coordinate patient care with hospital personnel, hospitalists, and other specialties to ensure effective treatment and discharge planning
