Summit Interconnect, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Lamination Production Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in our manufacturing process of advanced technology printed circuit boards, particularly focusing on intricate rigid and rigid-flex products, with a specialization in RF/Microwave applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct the lay-up and pressing of rigid panels to ensure high-quality output.
- Verify material availability and ensure that core layers align with specifications.
- Review previous production runs for any modifications and implement necessary adjustments.
- Maintain cleanliness of plates and separators in the lay-up area.
- Prepare layers for lamination, ensuring each panel is accurately identified according to work orders.
- Load and unload books into the press according to established recipes.
- Assist with additional tasks as directed by the department Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the printed circuit board industry is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is essential.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with management and team members.
- Ability to maintain focus and concentration in a dynamic work environment.
Physical Requirements:
- This position necessitates standing for the duration of the shift.
- Capability to lift up to 30 lbs is required.
