About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Teller to join our team at Citizens. As a Teller, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers, helping them achieve their financial goals, and making a real difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in our lobbies and provide personalized advice and solutions to meet their needs.
  • Demonstrate how to use our mobile app, ATMs, and other digital technologies to complete simple transactions.
  • Create amazing experiences for our customers by identifying opportunities to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Meet quarterly referral goals and confidently cash checks, process withdrawals and deposits.
  • Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, state and local laws and regulations.

Requirements
  • High School degree or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
  • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
  • Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
  • Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
  • Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
  • Completion of a video interview assessment as part of the application.
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • 6 months of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
  • Motivates others, like teammates, business partners, and specialists, through collaboration.
  • Process-oriented, energetic, detail-oriented and ability to multitask effectively.
Hours & Work Schedule
  • Hours per Week: 20.
  • Work Schedule: Varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings.
