About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at Our House Inc. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our 7-acre campus, including 7 buildings that clients and team members use daily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Facilities Manager and Operations Director in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and residents.
  • Help maintain Our House property, including grounds, buildings, and vehicles.
  • Assist in general maintenance on items such as HVAC, grounds equipment, minor plumbing, etc.
  • Report any issues that may arise with buildings and equipment that require major repairs.
  • Develop good relationships with department heads and directors to assist with needs that are within your ability.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with residents, job trainees, and clients receiving our services and working on the facilities team.
  • Provide clear communication with staff when action is needed to ensure the environment is safe from hazards.
  • Aid in the occasional task of helping direct traffic flow and parking for events held on our campus.
  • Assist vendors when needed for inspections or repairs to our campus.
  • Conduct other duties as assigned to fulfill Our House's mission.
Requirements
  • Background in building and grounds maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to perform assigned job tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reliability and punctuality to perform daily duties.
  • Willingness to continue learning and growing if opportunities are presented.
