Powerhouse Operator-Maintenance

The Powerhouse Operator-Maintenance is responsible for performing a variety of critical tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing multiple buildings and facilities. This role requires knowledge of high-pressure boilers, chilled water production systems, potable water systems, and pumps. The successful candidate will be able to read and record operating conditions on meters, gauges, and automatic recording devices, including low-voltage controls and pneumatic controls.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with building systems, including high-pressure boilers and chilled water production systems.
- Monitor and record operating conditions on meters, gauges, and automatic recording devices.
- Coordinate with other Facilities Management team members to ensure completion of assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
- Report to supervisor on a regular basis on conditions relative to general operations, safety, and day-to-day activities in the facility.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Arkansas State Board Boiler License or acquire within the first year of employment.
- Two (2) years' experience in building/facilities maintenance and/or HVAC maintenance.
- Maintenance repairs experience, familiar with safety procedures and trained in safe operation of building maintenance equipment and handling of related chemicals.
- Ability to provide legible, detailed, and accurate information on work orders/preventative maintenance forms.
This role will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
