Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner II to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, education, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and pulmonary function testing.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, analyze data, and create plans of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Perform treatments and therapies according to physician orders, and modify procedures based on patient response.
  • Provide education to patients and caregivers on cardiopulmonary diseases and disorders, and associated treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current Respiratory Care License in the state of employment.
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
  • Valid driver's license required for Home Care/DME.
