As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for organizing clerical functions of the nursing unit, including communication, record keeping, logs, and patient information./ppbKey Responsibilities:/b/pulliMaintain patients' written medical records as per policy and procedure./liliUpload written documentation into patients' electronic records./liliAnswer the telephone, deliver messages, sort unopened mail, and place it in designated boxes./liliFacilitate patient calls to phone contacts when indicated./liliGreet, sign-in, and wand visitors when indicated./liliInventory and order hospital supplies when necessary./liliMonitor and maintain paper forms./liliComplete photocopying and faxing as requested./li/ulpbRequirements:/b/pulliEducation: A minimum of a degree or certificate in medical secretary training or an Associate's Degree required./liliLicensure: None./liliSkills: Possess effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
