Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated individual to become an integral part of our baking team. This role involves collaborating closely with our head baker to create a distinctive and evolving menu, while adhering to precise recipes and baking for both retail and wholesale clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head Baker and team to accurately weigh, mix, shape, proof, and bake various types of bread, as well as pastries and croissants.
  • Utilize industrial kitchen equipment, including convection ovens, stand mixers, and proofers, to ensure high-quality production.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace, complying with health regulations and company policies.
  • Foster a positive and energetic bakery environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a commercial bakery, prep kitchen, or restaurant setting.
  • Familiarity with sourdough and laminated doughs is preferred.
  • Completion of a pastry arts program or equivalent training is advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential.
  • A collaborative mindset and a supportive attitude towards team culture are highly valued.

Compensation:

Hourly wage ranges from $20 to $23, commensurate with experience.

Schedule:

Availability for full-time and part-time positions is required, with a preference for weekend shifts.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Dexterity for handling dough and other baking materials efficiently.
