Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Salad Maker to join our team at Chopt - One Liberty Plaza. As a Salad Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling salads to the highest standards, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and assemble salads according to Chopt standards, using a mezzaluna to chop ingredients to customer liking
  • Interact with customers to ensure every salad is made with personalized attention and to provide recommendations on recipe builds, dressing flavor profiles, and salad pairings
  • Learn and execute food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Adhere to all steps of service to meet customer needs and provide exceptional customer service experiences
  • Keep a clean and organized workstation, stocked with necessary ingredients and equipment
  • Commit to educating yourself on new salads and menu items to expand your food knowledge and provide recommendations to customers
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate in basic English with customers
  • Ability to understand customer requests and respond with appropriate actions and recommendations
  • Understanding and execution of food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to stand for long periods, move quickly, and lift up to 20 lbs
  • Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
